No Guardian for Huguette Clark!

The judge's ruling Thursday says the relatives are relying on secondhand and speculative claims that Huguette Clark (hew-GET') is incapacitated and needs a guardian.

Right! 104 doesn't automatically equal incompetence.

I have to wonder if the family has legit concerns, living to be 104 years old is very old. We have to remember there is a lot more to this story.

Remember when someone is 5 they think someone who is 20 is old and some one who is 50 is really old.

Age does not make you incompetent, but people's perceptions can.

How do we get the real story if no one knows what she looks like or has seen her in years .............

A friend introduced me to a gentleman at a party of hers and he was delightful, smart and funny.

She asked my husband how old we thought he was ....... my husband said 70 based on his appearance but based on his mind 60 max he was 98 .......

She may not be incompetent, but I believe she is probably under the influence.
