Stealing David is right. What a terrible, terrible story. I pray for his return to his family.
This is so awful!!! Why isn't he allowed to go home? How much money have these people made from incarcerating David? And to think that they reached out to Maria Shriver and she wouldn't help either? Are there any good people left in power? I know prayer works and I am sending thousands to David and his family. We, NASGA member and all of the good loving people of the world are all on your side!!

It's all about power & control and income. Each case is income folks add it up the total amount for 2011 alone is astronomical.

I wonder, are there Down Syndrome foundations or advocates who might help David?
I'll never accept or understand why the good people of this country don't take to the streets to demand going back to sanity from INsanity. Exposure is the only way to educate society and then step 2 is to prove this can and will happen to them, to someone they love or know. The young and the old are at risk while the family of the ward is forever changed.
My heart is broken if David was my son I would be in a state of despair praying for strength and control to make it through each day.
I wonder if what happened to David (that his signature was allowed to be consent when he couldn't read or write) happened because the Fettgathers didn't have a good lawyer?
This is another case of no one is safe. No one - not even a young man who can't read or write who is tricked into "signing" his name and then his family, his comfort, and his love is stolen from him.
SHAME on them.
