Thank you, Bev, for allowing a forum for people to speak publicly about guardianship abuse and elder abuse that has occurred to them.

You are making a difference, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart :)

Your sharkette friend :)

Another tragic case.

Illinois resident Camille is interviewed by Bev Cooper, host of Coopers Corner. Camille's sister, Evelyn, widow with adult children, was a resident of Illinois, her daughter a nurse was taking care of her mother as power of attorney agent.

Evelyn was removed and transported to Nebraska being held against her will. Evelyn is failing, she is under guardianship of person and estate. Visitors need to be approved knowing they will need to pay for a 'guard' to watch and listen and report to the Guardian. Evelyn has been denied the spiritual comfort she desperately needs and wants. A visiting Priest was allowed to say 'hello' to Evelyn. The Priest was then escorted out of the facility The House of Hope.

NASGA submitted a letter to Chicago Archdiocese: Cardinal Francis George asking for his help in this matter.
